Past Fundraisers:
- Bright Kids Uganda Foundation, U.S.A. Held a fundraising event in Oxford MS. Fall 2010. We had roughly 150 people in attendance at the opening and raised around $1200.
- Bright Kids’ former intern held a fundraiser when she returned from Uganda in August 2011. There were about 50 people in attendance. Through donations and jewelry sales she was able to raise about $980

- Jewelry Sale Fundraiser: September 27, 2011
Over this summer, Bright Kids Uganda Entebbe home welcomed 3 University of Pittsburgh students: Ashley, Angie, and Kristin. Both Angie and Kristin brought some gorgeous Ugandan Jewelry back to the USA for sale in fundraisers benefiting Bright Kids Uganda. On Tuesday September 27, 2011 Kristin Frye (Former BKU Intern), Pauline Greenlick (BKU, USA Treasurer), Johnathan Jeong and Tomomi Korenga (Purposeful Penny Board members) held one of these fundraisers at the Graduate School of International and Public Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh. The fundraiser was a success… They were able to raise around $375 for Bright Kids Uganda, Entebbe, Home as well as interest several students in internship, volunteer, and donation opportunities.
